AMLSN, ANAMBRA STATE ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVE OFFICERS

On Saturday, 25^th April, 2015, at Cana House, Awka, AMLSN, ANAMBRA STATE branch elected new executive officers who will pilot the affairs of the professional body in the next three years.

Though marked by low voters turn out as only very few members of the association were financially up to date and hence eligible to vote or be voted for in the election, the election was a success.

After conducting a free, fair and credible election with his team, the Electoral Committee Chairman and Biomedical Scientist, Mr. Tony Ezechukwu  announced the following as the newly elected officers of the association:

Ikegbue Henry C:  Chairman Elect

Agugo Ogechukwu C:  Vice Chairman Elect

Anahalu Ikenna C: Secretary Elect

Udemezue Izuchukwu: Assistant Secretary Elect

Hon. Okeke Chimaobi: Financial Secretary Elect

Okeke Obinna C: Treasurer Elect

Ifediata Francis: Auditor Elect

Ezenwa Uche H:  P.R.O. Elect

Ezeugwu Chinedu J: State Welfare Officer Elect

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman elect, His Excellency, Mr. Ikegbue Henry extolled the incumbent AMLSN, Anambra State chairman, His Excellency, Comr. Obi A.A for being the first chairman in recent times to run a transparent and accountable government. He promised to continue with all the good programmes of his predecessor especially the State Secretariat project and also outlined the innovations he was going to bring into the office as chairman of the association.

He also promised to embark on a reconciliatory and motivational mission to revive the interest of aggrieved or inactive members in the association in the state. He assured that welfare of the association’s members in the whole state is paramount to his administration.
